WE CARE PROGRAM

The Chilliwack Quilters' Guild members make  'We Care' Quilts each year which are donated to various charities in the Chilliwack, Agassiz and Hope area and in areas where a quilt is needed to comfort people. In 2021 quilts were donated to the Lytton community following the fire. The guild provides backing and batting and some fabric if available.

As well as quillts, members use their skills and fabric stash to make heart pillows for people in the community who are having surgery for breast cancer; placemats for people who receive meals on wheels; christmas stockings for donation to children; pillow cases for donation to transiton homes, fidget quilts for extended care patients.
